The enemy wants to label us as damaged goods, and wants to use our past against us: you're an addict, you're a divorcee, you're a criminal, you've hurt people, you dropped out of school and can't keep a job, you were sexually immoral. And even a lot of people in church will try to make us feel this way. But Jesus was known as a friend of sinners, and He wants to cleanse you from any feelings of guilty and condemnation.
