Love is Patient, Love is Kind
Giving the gift of love isn't necessarily what we think it is. Giving presents is great and all, but the ultimate love present is to give your partner the gift of grace. Love is when your partner messes up, and instead of punishing him, and being angry, you remember what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 13:4 -- "love is patient, love is kind, it does not boast, it is not proud, it does not keep a record of wrongdoings." And it means that when we mess up, we're contrite, and committed to change.
